New Delhi: The Taiwanese manufacturer of smartphones and tablets, HTC, has officially launched Desire VC smartphone at a price of Rs 21,999 in India. The smartphone already went on sale across online retailers earlier this week.
The latest member of the Desire series deploys a 4-inch display that renders a hyper-viewing angle for streaming media content. With the dual SIM attribute, it enables convenient switching between CDMA and GSM Networks.
The smartphone features a 5MP autofocus camera with flash embedded on its exterior. It is powered by a 1650 mAh battery and facilitates a 1GHz processor alongside the powerful Android Ice Cream Sandwich(ICS) operating system.
In what is believed to be the most distinctive feature, HTC Desire VC employs Beats Audio technology to cater to musical needs of the consumers. It packs in 4 GB of memory onboard that is expandable via microSD card slot.
For connectivity purposes, the smartphone offers WiFi, a 3.5mm audio jack, a micro-USB port and Bluetooth 4.0. The latest ICS smartphone is the first to provide its users with HSIA internet for smooth web browsing.
HTC has also partnered with Tata Docomo to offer the device with a range of flexible data plans.
